In today’s dynamic and fast-paced workplace, employees need to constantly build and enhance their job skills to stay competitive.  There is a great need for skills upgrade training within Florida’s existing workforce. Employers who identify the need to upgrade their current workforce skills in order to improve retention, occupational skill attainment, and earnings of staff, may be reimbursed 50% of their training costs through the local workforce board’s Employed Worker Training (EWT) program.
